Agency for Strategic Studies is specialized in providing business and management consulting services to Slovenian and foreign companies in the development and implementation of their project in Southeastern Europe.
We are familiar with the environment, in which we operate, from various business and economic viewpoints.
Our work is professional and up-to-date. We believe personal relations with our clients are important. When searching for solutions we try to find the most economic solution for each of our clients.
Our clients are domestic and foreign companies – from small private and project companies to multinational corporations, banks and other financial institutions, insurance companies and individual state organs. We use our extensive knowledge for some of the largest business investments – in the sector of direct investments.
Due to globalization and the necessity to adapt to the aggressive foreign competition as regards consulting, we also have a company in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro.
Borut Šuklje
I graduated philosophy and comparative literature at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Ljubljana, in 1984. Up until 1990, he taught philosophy and sociology to multiple high schools in Ljubljana and in that same year, as a member of Socialist Party of Slovenia, he entered the National Council of Slovenia. During 1990 and 1992, he was a director of programming at RTV Slovenia, in the period from 1994 to 1996 he was the Minister of Culture for the Republic of Slovenia, 1996-1999 Secretary General of the Slovenian Republic; 1999-2001, he was the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and in 2001 he was appointed ambassador to the FRY. In 2004, he was diagnosed with cancer which he successful defeated. Today, he is an international advisor for the area of Southeast Europe and Western Balkans.
Borut Šuklje regularly writes columns for newspapers Finance and Politika. His numerous articles were published in the leading Slovenian media.
