Product Development

Our team has years of experience with development of new products in the automotive industry and understanding the demands of OEMs and TIER1s.Our primary focus is the development of mechanical parts and assemblies made from different materials (aluminum, steel, aluminum and steel sheets, plastics…) We offer: communication with the OEM customer, product definition, 3D modeling, validation by computer simulation of a product and production process, D-FMEA, etc. In cooperation with our partners we can provide manufacturing and testing of prototypes.We do product and tool development for other industries as well.

Structural simulations

The simulation of the product functionality is the most cost and time effective method of product validation, because it can be done in the early development stages. It allows us to provide an accurate insight into the operation of the product and thus detect potential design errors long before the availability of prototype products and testing devices.We have over 10 years of experience with simulations according to automotive industry standards and in that time have implemented over 300 simulations of different types and complexity:
  • non-linear mechanical simulation of complex assemblies (pedal assemblies, accessories, parking brakes, flywheels, vehicle suspensions, brake discs, etc.),
  • crash simulations,
  • thermal and thermo-mechanical simulations (brake discs, drums, flywheels, etc.),
  • fatigue,
  • modal analysis,
  • simulations of polymeric products with fiber orientation,
  • simulations of rubber parts.
Structural simulations are carried out in the Abaqus software, a leading simulation program based on the finite element method. 

Sheet metal forming simulations

Simulations of sheet metal forming are carried out in the Abaqus software, which enables a detailed analysis of contact conditions in the forming tool (taking into account selective lubrication, foil, etc.) and a wide range of material constitutive models (anisotropic behavior, degradation of the elastic moduli, FLD, other material damage mechanisms, etc.)A great deal of attention is given to a detailed characterization of material properties. This is a key step to achieving accurate simulation results. In agreement with the customer, we can also provide a test of the material and production of samples.You can send us a 3D model of tool functional surfaces or just a 3D model of the product – in this case we determine the steps of sheet metal forming and design the functional surfaces of the tool. 

Injection molding simulations

The simulation of plastic injection molding is carried out in the Moldex software, which allows a detailed analysis of contact conditions in the tool, and includes a wide range of material models with sufficient material data library.A great deal of attention is given to a detailed characterization of material properties. This is a key step in achieving accurate simulation results. In agreement with the customer we can also provide a test of material.You can send us a 3D model of the tool cavities with the product or just a 3D model of the product – in this case we determine the position of molding inlets and cooling channels. 

CFD simulations

CFD simulations are performed in the OpenFoam software. We carry out calculations of air resistance and analysis of natural and forced convection (electronic components, brake discs, etc.) 

Sheet-metal products

In addition to sheet metal forming development, we also offer the production of prototypes from sheet metal with design and production of prototyping tools. 

Machining

We make products out of metal, non-ferrous metal, wood, plastic or foam on request. We also provide machining of semi-finished products. 

Organization of work processes

We provide help in improving the efficiency of work processes in the fields of project management, sales, purchasing, quality, development and technology. Our knowledge in these areas stems from many years of experience in the automotive industry. 

Development Project Management

As part of product development, project management includes preparation of the project execution plan, coordination with external partners, communication with customers and regular reporting on the course of work. We are experienced in managing development projects in the automotive industry and work directly with OEMs and TIER1s. 

Low-cost production monitoring solutions

Production processes and modern technologies require accurate and real-time tracking of production parameters. With this, it is possible to ensure a stable and efficient production. We mainly focus on low-cost monitoring solutions with our own signal acquisition system. We measure the following parameters: temperature, pressure, acceleration, humidity and gas concentration. We provide our own solutions for periodic data storage and real-time analysis.
