Rafting descent starts at our agency in Kobarid, Slovenia and by agreement you can also choose the location in Bovec, Slovenia. At each rafting trip you will receive a neoprene dress – pants and anorak, helmet, life jacket and neoprene shoes. Before the descent, the licensed guide presents the rowing techniques and introduces you to the peculiarities of the descent.
There are 4 to 8 people in one raft. An experienced and licensed guide is accompanying you. Also check: CANYONING, CANOE, KAYAK
You can choose different rafting options:
- Boka rafting Rafting descent Boka is our most frequent and is performed on the section of the Soča River between Boka Waterfall and Trnovo ob Soči. The first part of descent is simpler and just too long to get acquainted with the technique of rowing and maneuvering the raft. The second part is faster and more attractive with rapids and takes place on the slalom kayak run.
Rafting descent relax Rafting descent Relax usually takes place on the section between Kobarid, Slovenia and Volarje, Slovenia on the lower part of the Soča River which is calm and without rapids. Such a descent is suitable for school groups and families with smaller children.
